Sewage treatment plant of the Municipality of Mygdonia in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki Phase: Completed

The project was part of the policies to reduce intra-regional disparities and aimed at the creation of basic infrastructure for the protection of natural resources.

In the context of this project, EpsilonDEVELOPMENT CONSULTANTS supported the Municipality of Migdonia in the submission of a financing proposal for the establishment of a Waste Water Treatment Plant to serve the needs of three municipal districts.

The Waste Water Treatment plant was designed to cover the treatment of urban wastewater of the Municipal Districts of Liti, Drymos, Melissochori of the Municipality of Mygdonia both in terms of current and future needs, with a corresponding expansion based on forty-year forecasts.

With the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Municipality of Migdonia, a solution was given to the long-term problem of disposing of the produced wastewater in the area, which due to the lack of sewerage network is channeled to adjacent streams and through them to Lake Koronia directly or indirectly and underground.
